A Nickname and Love of Good Food Started It All

MEET BUPPY (AKA Maui)

Every pup has their special nicknames, and for my sweet Maui, "Buppy" was the one that stuck. She was my baby, my forever puppy, and the heart behind BUPPY PETS. Maui’s vibrant spirit and unconditional love inspired me to rethink how we treat our furry companions.

As I embraced a healthier lifestyle for myself, I wanted the same for Maui. But every time I checked the ingredients in her food and treats, I was overwhelmed by unpronounceable additives and unnecessary preservatives. That didn’t sit right with me. Maui deserved better. Something pure, simple, and delicious.

Fueled by this determination, I passionately began developing tasty recipes with only four wholesome ingredients that dogs would enjoy. After months of research and countless furry focus groups, I created sweet and savory treats that satisfied almost every craving a dog could have. Though these treats were made for four-legged friends, I found myself (and my friends and family) snacking on them too and not just because we could, but because they’re delicious and packed with health benefits.

BUPPY PETS was born from a deep love for Maui and a mission to provide dogs everywhere with healthier, tastier treats made from seasonal fruits and veggies. This journey has connected me with incredible people and communities who share the same passion for the pets that run our lives.

Though we lost almost 18-year old Maui in November 2023, her legacy lives on in every treat we create. BUPPY PETS continues to celebrate her spirit and dedication to healthier treating. I look forward to sharing what’s next on our menu and finding new ways to honor our mission of tastier, healthier treating. For both pups and their humans alike.
